Sabarimala special trains list 2014:
Sabarimala: Indian Railway is going to run some special trains from Andhrapradesh, telangana, karnataka other states all over India to Sabarimala. To meet the demand due to more number of devotees travelling to Sabarimala during makaravilakku festival season of months November, December and January.
Sabarimala season is already started from this October 2014. Sabarimala Ayyappa Temple in Kerala is opened for darshanam only during certain specific periods in a year. Sabarimala Sree Ayyappa Temple is one of the most prominent Sastha temples in India. The temple attracts devotees not only from India, but also from other parts of the country and abroad.
Sabarimala Sree Ayyappa Temple is the ancient pilgrimage in the world. Estimated 100 million devotees visiting Ayyappa Swamy Temple every year. According to the pilgrimage season, Southern Central Railway will run the Various special trains to clear the extra rush during this pilgrimage season. Lack of transportation fecilities devotees will face so many problems to reach the Sabarimala Temple in Kerala.
These special trains would be seen from December to January through out India. These trains starts from Hyderabad, Nizamabad, Kakinada Town, Narsapur, Machilipatnam, Vijayawada, Kareemnagar, Sirpur of Andhra Pradesh and from Aurangabad and Akola of Maharashtra, to Kollam of Kerala and also the special trains would be running from Kollam to Tirupati and Vijayawada. Bookings for the reservation of these trains have been initiated. Reservations of all special trains will be organised by the Indian Railway Department.
Indian railways main wish is to providing smooth and hassle free journey for the lakhs of ayyappa devotees who will be coming to visit the Lord Ayyappa Swamy temple at Sabarimala also to get more revenue.

Here we are giving some list of special trains which are every year announced by Indian railways. So may me in this year 2014-2015 also expecting same trains which are mentioned below. We will update this list when Indian railway(scr, sr)announces special trains to sabarimala from Andhra Pradesh(ap) Hyderabad, vijayawada, telangana state , Hyderabad also from tiruparthi & chenni.

Train No. 07115 Kacheguda-Kollam special train will depart Kacheguda at 10:35 am on 23rd and 27thNovember 2014 and arrive Kollam at 05:40 pm on the next day.
In the return direction, Train No. 07116 Kollam-Kacheguda Sabarimalai special train will depart Kollam at 09:45 pm on 24th and 28thNovember 2014 and arrive Kacheguda at 02:35 am on the second day.

This Train No. 07211 Kakinada Town-Kollam special train will depart Kakinda town at10:30 pm on 23rd November 2014 and arrive Kollam at 11:45 pm on the next day.
In the return direction, Train No. 07212 Kollam-Kakinada Town Sabarimalai special train will depart Kollam at 01:45 am on 25th November 2014 and arrive Kakinada Town at 04:00 am on the next day.

Enroute, these special trains will stop at Palakollu, Viravasaram, Bhimavaram, Bhimavaram Town, Akivedu, Kaikalur, Gudivada, Vijayawada, Tenali, Nidubrolu, Bapatla, Chirala, ongole, Kavali, Nellore, Gudur, Sri Kalahasti, Renigunta, Tirupati, Chittoor, Katpadi, Jolarpettai, Salem, Erode, Tiruppur, Coimbatore, Palakkad, Thrisur, Aluva, Ernakulam Town, Kottayam, Tiruvalla, Chengannur and Kayankulam in both the directions.
The Lord Ayyappa Temple of Sabarimala, located in a forest in Pathanamthitta,it is a hill shrine. The temple is on a hilltop at a height of 468 m (1535 ft) above sea level and it is surrounded by mountains and dense forests. Vehicles which are going to Sabarimala will allowed up to Pamba only. Which is the distance of 5 kilometers from the temple. From here, devotees should have to proceed by foot. The temple is not open during theperiod of year. Pilgrim season known as mandala kaalam which approximately between 14th November to 27th December every year and makaravilakku (makara Jyothi) which falls in mid January each year. During this time it is estimated that about 80 million devotees visits the Ayyappa temple in Sabarimala. The temple is also open for a few additional days every month.
There are some strict rules for dress codes meant for those intending to visit Sabarimala. In preparation for their visit, Deeksha devotees wear black or blue mundus/dhotis and avoid the the consumption of non-vegetarian food and alcohol. They also take deeksha for Ayyappa for 45 days upto visit sabarimala darshan. Women are at the age group of 10 to 60 are not permitted to visit Sabarimala. Sabarimala can be crossed through towns like Ettumanoor, Kottayam, Changanassery, Thiruvalla, Chengnanoor and Adoor. The most convenient route for Sabarimala Ayyappa Swamy temple in south Kerala is to journey through Adoor and the people coming from north Kerala is to journey through Kottayam to reach Sabarimala.
All these Sabarimalai special trains 2015 will offer II AC, III AC, Sleeper Class and, General Second Class coaches for Passengers.
